Submission
The AAS 2026 will entertain abstracts under two categories:
CATEGORY 1 ABSTRACTS:
Abstracts under Category 1 should be based on the following:
1) Original research studies using primary or secondary data
2) Systematic reviews/meta-analysis
Research work should ensure sound methodology and ethical clearance wherever relevant.
- Upon acceptance, an ethical clearance certificate needs to be provided for all human subject research. Would be mandatory for the journal publication.
- The accepted abstracts will be published in the special issue of the Journal of the College of Community Physicians (JCCPSL) 2026.
CATEGORY 2 ABSTRACTS:
Abstracts under Category 2 should be based on the following:
(1) New initiatives in public health
(2) Evaluations of current public health programs
(3) Best practices
(4) Case studies/projects
- The initiatives/evaluations should be based on evidence based public health interventions/methodologies carried out by public healthcare providers.
- Public health interventions/initiatives at national/regional/local level that showcase success/barriers/limitations and lessons learnt.
- Abstracts should be presented as case studies.
